Art Walk in Lake Oswego
On a hot Thursday afternoon stationed in front of Chrisman Frame Shop what is a lazy artist to do? Paint...East, South and then North. Then hit the road to the next opening at Dwell Reality after traffic has died down and be thankful for good friends who stand in for you while you must be two places at once.
I enjoyed talking with the owner Ed Chrisman, painting a seemingly ordinary street and discovering some satisfying paint passages and walking away with a score on some great quality frames.
A good day in the life.

Mindful Palette Scrapings
Nothing like going for a value painting at dusk where you are relying on the palette set up because you really can't see the difference between blue and black. I had such a nice afternoon at Blue Bee Farm...why not do one more painting at the dining room table (we have acquired another table for eating at in the living room which reminds me to go move my latest paintings from its surface. This is what my studio is for, right?)
These moments I find often lead to inspiration for other paintings.
